Description
This unlabeled 3/4 carved back bass is made with very nice materials and has been performance-enhanced with a top regraduation, bass bar remodeling, installation of an aged African ebony fingerboard from a German distributor, and the installation of a Jason Brown C extension. This bass is an excellent student range instrument for orchestral use. The spruce top has the fine grain at the center, extending out past the bridge feet, where the grain lines widen some. The flame figure maple back, sides, and neck are spectacular. The engraved Rubner tuning machines are in fine shape and turn smoothly. The bridge is a new Teller 3 star model, fitted with adjusters. The strings are Pirastro Permanent, for solid and color orchestral voice.
