Description
This new Shen SB 150 (2022-10-80) 3/4 hybrid model has an exceptionally responsive spruce top. The back and sides are laminated maple. The nut, fingerboard, and tailpiece saddle are ebony. The tailpiece is ebonized. The select maple bridge has been fit with adjusters. The endpin is a 10 mm steel rod. The wine-red finish is oil varnish. The strings are D’Adario Zyex. Dimensions are: Top length 42 3/4″, Upper bout width 20″, Middle bout width 14 1/2″, Lower bout width 26 1/4″. String length 41 3/4″. This bass has a very responsive lower midrange and bass.
