This ca. 2009 A&G Music all-solid woods 3/4 bass has lived and active and busy jazz performing life for the last 10 years. It has developed an easy responsive quality that feels like a much more mature instrument. A few small side cracks and finish dings have been attended to. Side dots were added to the fingerboard some years ago. The Spruce top has a colorful voice from play. The back, sides, and neck are moderately figured maple. The halfplate tuning machines turn freely and easily. Ebony nut, fingerboard, tailpiece and tailpiece saddle. 12 mm steel rod endpin. New Maple bridge with added adjusters. Dark varnish finish. Zyex strings.
