This ca. 1960s German 3/4 carved back bass is an especially effective jazz instrument, tested for years on gigs by the current owner. Medium grain German spruce top, German maple back, sides, and neck, Brass halfplate tuners, Ebony fittings, 10 mm steel rod ULSA endpin with ebony collar, Maple bridge with adjusters, Reddish spirit varnish finish.

Dimensions are:
Top length 42 1/2″, Upper bout width 19 1/2″, Middle bout width 14 1/4″, Lower bout width 25 1/4″, Depth at neck joint 7″, Depth at upper bout corner 8 1/8″, Depth at tail 8 1/4″, String length 42 1/4″. This bass plays easily and has a quick response. Current;ly strung with Spirocore weich strings. With cover.
