The Aubert bridge has been fit with adjusters. The replacement endpin is an ULSA 10 mm steel rod type. The reddish varnish finish was recently cleaned and touched up by Jeff Sahs. Thick leather bumpers have been added to the E side upper and lower bouts for protection from wear. The bass is currently string with Flexocore Deluxe strings for playing that is primarily done with a bow. This bass has also been very successfully been used with Spirocore strings.
