2007 Christopher DB304T large 3/4 busetto hybrid



This 2007 was used by an adult student to learn orchestral playing with a good local teacher. The only outside travel was to the lessons and back home. Solid spruce top, Maple back, sides, and neck. Gold plated halfplate tuning machines, Ebony nut, fingerboard, and tailpiece saddle, Ebonized tailpiece, Despiau bridge fitted with adjusters, 10 mm steel rod endpin, Dark wine red colored lacquer finish, strung with D’Addario Zyex strings.

Top length 43 1/4″, Upper bout width 19″, Middle bout width 13 3/4″, Lower bout width 26 3/4″, Rib depth at tail 8 1/2″, Rib depth at upper bout crease 7 7/8, Rib depth at neck 6 3/8″, String length 41 1/8″.

Recent student oriented setup refinement and light fingerboard planing. This bass is a well-preserved student instrument.
