Description
This professionally used and well maintained 2006 Chris Threlkeld carved back bass was played in the Olympia, Washington Orchestra. The bass is outfitted with a custom B extension by Chris Threlkeld. This large instrument has a huge orchestral voice and an easy playing 41 1/2″ (105.4 cm) string length. The high quality spruce top has a a fine and even grain structure. The Honduras Mahogany back and sides have an even, unfigured grain structure. The two-piece Honduras Mahogany neck has fitted a B extension, also made by Chris Threlkeld. The tuning machines are from Irving Sloane. Ebony nut, fingerboard, tailpiece, and tailpiece saddle. Maple bridge with adjusters and a final height of 7 1/8″ (18.1 cm).
