Description
This 2006 Romanian made Euro Basic large 3/4 all-laminated bass makes another appearance after being away for a few years. The robust voice is very useful in all acoustic jamming or band settings. The all-laminated body features a spruce outer ply on the top plate. The beech neck has been fit with Rubner tuning machines. The nut, fingerboard, and tailpiece saddle are all made from ebony. The tailpiece is made from Macassar ebony. The 10 mm endpin is adjustable. The maple bridge has been fit with adjusters. The durable lacquer finish offers good protection in jamming or performance situations. Dimensions are: Top length 43 1/2″, Upper bout width 18 1/2″, Middle bout width 14 1/4″, Lower bout width 27″, Rib depth at tail 8 1/4″, Rib depth at upper bout corner is 7 5/8″, Rib depth at neck joint is 7″. The string length is 41″. This bass is a fine performance bass in jamming or band performance situations. I recently changed the crown height of the bridge and installed a new set Of D’Addario Zyex strings. With cover.
