1970s Hofner 3/4 Plywood

The all-laminated Hofner 3/4 bass has seen decades of service as a gigging jazz instrument. The previous owner used it as a performance jazz instrument for about 35 years. The bass shows some signs of edge wear, but is otherwise in good shape. Dimensions are: Top length 42 1/4″, Upper bout width 19 1/4″, Middle bout width 14 1/2″, Lower bout width 25 3/4″, Rib depth at tail 7 7/8″, Rib depth at upper bout corner 7 3/4″, Rib depth at neck joint 6 1/2″, String length 41 1/4″. Strung with Pirastro Obligato strings, then voice is rich and the feel is elastic and supple. A good stage performance bass. With cover.
