This 1965 Martin OOO-28 (204682) with original Victoria hardshell case is on consignment from the original owner, who purchased it new as a 15 year old. This guitar is one of only 176 OOO-28s made by Martin in 1965. Medium grain Sitka Spruce top, Nicely figured Brazilian rosewood back and sides, Grover Rotomatic tuners, Replacement bone nut, One replaced bridge pin. The guitar has had a neck reset and refret. The original ebony bridge has been reslotted with a steeper angle of compensation for better intonation. The top braces have been lightly scallop-voiced by Richard Johnston of Gryphon Stringed Instruments. The treble-side repaired side crack is located just below the waist. There are two repaired back cracks in the bass-side upper bout. The tailblock has an added output jack hole through the plastic butt wedge. The voice is strong and colorful.
