This new Paesold 596V Carved Back 7/8 doublebass is another lovely example of this lively voiced instrument built in the Hofner factory. Aged medium grain European spruce top, Aged lightly figured European maple back, sides, and neck, Rubner gold single unit tuners with ebony posts, Replacement ebony nut, Replacement thicker ebony fingerboard, Ebony Hill style tailpiece, Ebony tailpiece saddle, Gotz aluminum shaft endpin, Aubert Luxe bridge with added adjusters, Antiqued spirit varnish finish, Light 1920s style build.
