New Paesold 591 3/4 carved back

This bass is an especially fine new example of the Paesold (Hofner made) budget 591 model. Made in Germany, this 592 level bass is sent to China for finishing and fitting with hardware and tuners. I have elected to upgrade the tuners to the gold single unit Rubner model. The maple neck, back, and sides are plain figure, the top is fine to medium grain spruce. The aged african ebony fingerboard is dense an black. The dark brown oil varnish shows some depth and a hint of red color. I have upgraded the endpin to the Gotz aluminum pin model. The bridge is a dense Aubert Luxe model, fitted with adjusters as part of a comprehensive setup. African ebony tailpiece made in Germany. Dimensions are: Top length 42 3/8″, Upper bout width 20 1/4″, Middle bout width 14 1/2″, Lower bout width 25 1/2″, Depth at neck 6 1/2″, Depth at upper bout bend 8″, Depth at tail 8 3/8″, String length 41 1/2″. This instrument has excellent response to fingers or a bow. The voice is exceptionally well balanced and I am sure that it will develope a fine depth with play. With cover.
