This spectacular instrument was the special find of the January 2015 NAMM Show. Great material, classic design, and fine workmanship make this bass an especially fine conservatory arco instrument at a great price. Fine to medium grain spruce top, Exquisitely flame figured maple neck, back, and sides, Rubner “Rustic series” single unit brass tuners, Ebony nut, fingerboard, and tailpiece saddle, Rosewood german tailpiece, Aluminum shaft endpin, Aubert De Luxe bridge with adjusters added as par at of a comprehensive setup. Dimensions are: Top length 42 7/8″, Upper bout width 20 1/8″, Middle bout 14 5/8″, Lower bout 26 1/2″ Depth at tail 8 3/8″, Depth at upper bout corner  8″, Depth at neck 6 5/8″, String length 40 7/8″. Especially fine in performance as an arco instrument, this bass is also a very good jazz instrument when strung with Spirocore mittel strings. With cover.
