This consignment 2008 Paolo Milcev 7/8 size “Bergonzi’ model is a powerful contemporary orchestral instrument, featuring slightly narrower sloping shoulders and a strong, complex voice in all ranges. Beautifully flame figured European maple neck, back, and sides, Even grain European spruce top, German halfplate tuners, Ebony nut, fingerboard, and tailpiece saddle, French maple bridge cut with adjusters by NYC luthier Thomas Kirchmer, German aluminum pin endpin, Wittner tailpiece, Dark orange varnish finish, Interior label “2008 Paolo Milcev fece in Cremona”, Strung with Evah Pirazzi strings. Dimensions are: Top length 44 1/8″, Upper bout width 20 1/2″, Middle bout width 15 3/4″, Lower bout width 28 1/2″, Depth at tail 9″, Depth at upper bout corner 8 1/8″, Depth at neck 7″, String length 41 3/8″.
