2006 Eastman VB-120-Q

This trade-in EastmanVB-120-Q 3/4 hybrid model was kept in very nice condition and was played regularly by a responsible adult. The”Q” suffix in the model designation refers to the “Quenoil” shape from the 1920s, a modernistic French design that narrowed the upper bout width dramatically, allowing for easy upper fingerboard access or a friendlier shape for a smaller person. The voice has developed from consistent play and the setup was greatly refined by our Sacramento team member. Even grain spruce top, Laminated maple back and sides, Maple neck, Gold plated halfplate tuning machines, Ebony nut, fingerboard, tailpiece, and tailpiece saddle, 12 mm steel rod endpin, Maple bridge with added adjusters, Orange lacquer finish, Strung with D’Addario Helicore Hybrid strings. DIMENSIONS are: Top length 42 3/4″, Upper bout width 18 1/8″, Middle bout width 13 7/8″, Lower bout width 25 7/8″, Depth at tail 8 7/8″, depth at upper bout corner 7 3/8″, Depth at neck 6 1/4″, String length 41 3/8″. This bass will make an ideal student grade instrument for a smaller person or for someone interested in easy access to upper position playing. With blue canvas cover.
