Ply maple top, back and sides, Maple replacement Kay neck, ca. 1900 hat peg half plate tuners, ebony fittings, Gotz aluminum shaft endpin, Despiau bridge with wooden adjusters added, Thin shaded lacquer finish on body and matching varnish on neck, Spirocore mittel strings. Dimensions are: Top length 42 3/8″, Upper bout width 21 1/4″, Middle bout width 16″, Lower bout width 26″, Depth at tail 8 1/8″, Depth at upper bout corner 7 7/8″, Depth at neck 6 1/2″, String length 42″. The voice is very rich and full, with great volume, and a penetrating quality. A very fine plywood performance bass. With cover.
