This 1947-48 Epiphone B4 (1197) has had a couple of small traumas in its life, but has undergone a few recent procedures and a major setup to make it a nice looking and sounding gig bass once again. Plywood top, back, and sides, 2-piece maple neck, Brazilian rosewood nut, fingerboard, and tailpiece saddle, Maple tailpiece with original badge, Original Kluson tuning machines in good working condition, Replacement German endpin, New German bridge with added adjusters, Sunburst lacquer finish, currently strung with Innovation strings. Repairs include neck and back button repair, replacement top ply chips near inlaid purfling. Evah Pirazzi or Spirocore strings will also work very well for this bass. With cover.
