This 1945 Kay C-1 (12374) has been the longtime house instrument of a San Francisco string player who is moving away. This instrument plays easily and feels good with the fuller neck shape and thicker fingerboard stock used. Repairs include: Replaced endpin, tailpiece, and bridge. Reset of neck broken out of the dovetail. The G side ear was broken off of the G side of the scroll and lost. There original crown gear screw for the A tuner was lost and replaced. The edges are in very good condition, but there are nicks and scrapes from decades of jam session playing. A very nice example made at the very end of WWII. With padded cover.

Price: $1,950
