Maple back, sides, and neck, Even medium grain spruce top, Single unit hat peg tuners, Ebony nut, fingerboard, tailpiece, and tailpiece saddle, German aluminum pin endpin, Aubert De Luxe bridge with adjusters added, light orange-brown oil varnish finish. Dimensions are: Top length 42 3/4″, Upper bout width 19 5/8, Middle bout width 13 7/8″, Lower bout width 26 1/8″, Depth at tail 8″, Depth at upper bout corner 8″, Depth at neck 6″, String length 42 5/8″. Recent operations to improve the function of this bass include a top degradation, Maple wedge to increase effective neck angle, New african ebony fingerboard, and a new bridge and setup. This bass has a large, projective voice that performs quite well in jazz or orchestral settings. An exceptional bass of this type. With cover.
